The KAMC Alliance’s major purpose is to cooperate with and aid the KAMC. They promote education of the membership and sponsor academic scholarships, and organize networking opportunities for spouses of members as well as family activities for members to engage in during the annual summer conference event. The KAMC Alliance president serves on the KAMC Board of Directors and has voting rights.
Current KAMC Alliance president is Vicki Vanhook, wife of Randy Vanhook, Green Mechanical, Glasgow, KY.
Frances Edwards Scholarship
The KAMC Alliance has an annual scholarship fund that they award every February during the KAMC Annual Convention. The Frances Edwards Scholarship is driven by membership and in order to apply for the scholarship, individuals must be sponsored by one of the Association’s members.
To apply, please fill out the 2023 Frances Edwards Scholarship and Rules. In addition to the application, you must provide:
- Letters of recommendation
- Transcripts
- Additional sheet regarding involvement in plumbing, HVAC or related industry
- Additional sheet regarding community service and school involvement
